The Surrey Species Audit
The Audit was completed in 1997 and as much has changed is now out of date in several areas. A new list: "Species of Conservation Concern for Surrey" is being produced with the help of the County's recorders and other species specialists. An excellent website for bird information is the RSPB's Bird Conservation Targeting Project, take a look at the targeting maps for land owners giving management advice. They have combined many datasets producing targeting maps showing the most up-to-date and comprehensive distribution of scarce and declining farmland and woodland birds.Song Thrush
