Regional Targets

A summary table of regional targets can be found in attachments at the bottom of this page.

A copy of the SEEBF Regional Action Plan is available from the SEEBF website library. Look under library and then "Action for Biodiversity in South East England". The document gives regional targets for the following habitats:

Lowland Grassland and Heathland:
lowland dry acid grassland
lowland meadows
lowland calcareous grassland
coastal and flood plain grazing marsh
lowland heathland
cereal field margins

Woodland:
lowland beech and yew woodland
wet woodland
ancient semi-natural woodland
wood pasture and parkland
ancient and/or species rich hedgerows

Wetlands
reedbeds
fens
purple moor grass and rush pasture

Freshwater
chalk rivers
mesotrophic standing waters
eutrophic standing waters

Coastal and Maritime
a range of habitats not found in Surrey
