Website Days for Partners - Book Now
A fully supported day for partners to put the recently written Partnership Position Statements onto the website. We’ll concentrate on the website first but there will be time for BARS data inputting as well. A chance to go over using the website and updating action plans. Eight computer spaces only so book your place. Dates: 15th September 10am – 4pm 28th September 10am – 2pmInvasive Alien Plants Day
A seminar for partnership members was held in May 2010 in Guildford. Members of CABI talked to us about a range of Invasive Alien plants. The day included a walk along the Wey to look at local IAs and interesting discussions on control methods. The event received a lot of positive feedback and people felt reassured regarding the work done and the safety of the psyllid being being trialled as a biological control in Spring and due to be released in July 2010 to contend with Japanese Knotweed. We will hold another event to look at Invasive Alien plants concentrating on Crassula helmsiiWebsite training sessions for partnership members:

Wiki Upgrade
This wiki has been upgraded to the latest version of XWiki. This has fixed a number of bugs and will allow us to introduce a number of new features over the next few weeks.

The number of song thrushes has plummeted in the past 30 years. Some reasons for the decline include loss of hedgerows, increased use of chemicals in the countryside and intensive farming methods.
